I spent a couple weeks in the summer of 1994 at the Rosebud Lakota reservation in South Dakota. I was there doing service work with a wonderful group of people called the PeaceWeavers. It was an absolutely incredible experience that I am very thankful to have had. I have wonderful fond memories of building outhouses, peeling potatoes, doing healing work on people using Japanese massage techniques, as well as of all the wonderful and beautiful people who live there, and who made me feel so welcome.
